I was in college and working in a clothing store. We sold unisex items and sort of catered to young adults. I never realized how many types of underwear that people were wearing or not wearing. It was always in the back of my mind of what type someone was wearing.
There was an average of 10 of us working on a Saturday and Sunday. We were required to wear items that the store sold to basically promote sales.
I was pulling items for display and the required pants were not a good fit for me. The constant bending forced my underwear up my back, well a female coworker gave them a tug up getting my attention and said not a good look take them off.
I was like 19 and was embarrassed until she said that’s what I do. I looked at her and she said look and turned to the side and pulled the waist band down and she went back to the sales floor.
I did it took them off hid them in my layaway bag and finished my day. It was the first day going in public commando. I liked it and did it on a regular basis. For the rest of my employment there I went without all the time. I did this at many following jobs.
My first wife would never. She wore panties always even to bed with thin pants and a shirt. She actually had so much to say about my lack of underwear that I gave in and wore them in public until we split.
Now it’s 40 years later I have flipped back and been without underwear for 20 years unless needed. My second wife of 28 years gave it a try for a week and found it more comfortable and has been going without for 8 years
