Maybe you always dreamed of doing some of the things you read about on this site. Things like stripping, flashing, skinny dipping, nudism, or exhibitionism. But somehow, you’ve never managed to work up the courage to pull it off. Or maybe you’ve daydreamed of your partner being a little more adventurous, but they don’t want to.
If you’re in that boat, have no fear! You can overcome these inhibitions (without turning to substances). Start by taking baby steps, and you’ll get to the destination eventually.
First things first, as always, be aware that branching out and exploring a new side of you may bring some unintentional consequences. Legally, know what the law for your area is regarding public nudity, etc. Generally, even if you live in an area where it’s allowed, you’re not allowed to practice it around kids. Be considerate of your friends, family, and neighbors — some people just aren’t ready to see you au natural. And of course, practice common sense and stay away from an unsafe environment.
The first Building Confidence dare was posted on 2 December 2023. If you need to build up the confidence to take on this dare, I recommend you go back and start with the first one.
Risk Factor: 3/5
Location: Your apartment / condo / flat.
Like the previous dares, continue doing what you’ve been doing up to this point. Home from work, get naked, normal evening routine, etc. After most of your neighbors have gone to bed or aren’t likely to peek out their doors is when this dare takes place.
When it’s time, take a peek to make sure no one’s around. Like the previous part of this dare, you’re going to be stepping outside in the nude. Once you’ve verified that you’re all alone, it’s time to take the big next step. Open the door, throw your shoulders back, and step outside. Close the door behind you, making sure to leave it unlocked. You’re completely exposed, and it’s awesome!
Take a deep breath and count to 30. No going back inside or covering up for anything until your time runs out. The longer you can stand outside, the better, but 30 seconds is your minimum. Your hands can be at your side, behind your butt (which should be facing the door), touching yourself, or behind your head — but no covering up now, not when you’re this close to experiencing a whole new level of freedom you’ve never experienced before!
When your time is up, step back in and close the door. That was exciting, wasn’t it? Nerve racking, perhaps, but the adrenaline rush is like nothing you’ve felt before. And I promise you, it’s not over yet.
Depending on your situation, you may need to do a bit of planning before attempting this dare, particularly if there are doorbell cams up that aren’t yours, or security cameras. Eventually we’ll utilize those, but for now, remember, we’re just building confidence. If you have a balcony or enclosed backyard, stepping out there might be better at this point. It’s up to you and what you think you’re comfortable with.
A word to the partners here. You’re not allowed to lock your partner out — yet. That’s coming, but for now that wouldn’t be helpful. So behave yourself, or else you might find yourself locked out naked one of these days, and I promise you it will be much worse than if you had just played nicely at this early stage.
Congratulations on making it this far! I hope you’re having fun exploring a new side of you. Believe me, even though it might be hard at the beginning, it’s worth it.
Stay tuned for Dare 5. Things are going to get even more exciting.
