Alex told me again that he was concerned that he is not able to completely satisfy my wife. He went on to tell me that he has a friend (Dave), that he met when he was attending a support group for individuals that had lost their spouse. Dave is in his late-forties and had lost his wife to breast cancer a little over a year ago. Alex told me that Dave was much like him; not interested into getting into a relationship with another woman.
Alex told me that he was thinking about inviting Dave over when my wife spends the night again, and asked me if I thought my wife would be okay with that. He went on to tell me that he and Dave go on overnight fishing trips and that the first time he saw Dave come out of the shower, he couldn’t believe the size of Dave’s “tool”. It was humongous. He knew Dave could help him in satisfying my wife’s appetite, provided Dave was willing to come over. I told Alex that I would tell my wife about what he was thinking and that I thought she would be more receptive if he told my wife about Dave’s situation. I told him that my wife has a lot of empathy for him being a widower and would probably have the same feelings about Dave. We agreed that I would tell my wife and he would tell Dave about my wife.
I told my wife about Dave and his situation was much like Alex’s. I did not tell her anything about Dave’s “tool”. My wife was very hesitant about getting another guy involved. I kept encouraging her to at least meet Dave; she remained reluctant about meeting Dave.
Alex called me last week since he had not heard back from me. I told him that my wife had not been saying anything about them getting together again. Then, out of the blue, this past Friday my wife told me to call Alex to see if he wanted her to come over and spend the night on Saturday. I called Alex and told him that my wife wanted to know if he would be okay with her coming over to spend the night.
Alex didn’t hesitate and said sure. Then he asked if she was okay with him calling Dave to see if he could come over too. I looked at my wife and told her that Alex was looking forward to seeing her again and he wanted to know about inviting Dave. I handed my wife the phone and told her to talk with Alex about Dave. They went back and forth on the subject of Dave; my wife finally gave in and told Alex that she would be willing to meet Dave, provided that if things did not “click” between them that he would leave.
She also questioned whether he was "clean"; meaning that he did not have a STD. Alex told her that he has not had sex since his wife died. She was also concerned that getting another person involved would increase the likelihood of others finding out what is going on. She told Alex that if this ever got out, the party is over; and NO PHOTOS EVER.
My wife handed the phone back to me. Alex told me that he would call Dave and tell him about meeting my wife and would call us back as soon as he heard from Dave. Alex called back in a few minutes and told me that Dave was a little hesitant, since she was a married woman. Alex said he told Dave about the non-relationship between my wife and me and that I was okay with it. He went on to tell Dave that he would meet me and could talk with me when I brought my wife over. Dave agreed to come over. I tell my wife that Dave agreed to meet her and would leave at her request.
Saturday afternoon my wife was packing a few cloths to take with her and asked me what she should wear when she meets Dave. I told her to wear one of her sundress’s and to pick out the shortest one; she laughed. It’s time to leave; my wife is wearing her short sundress.
As we are driving over to Alex’s house, my wife was expressing concerns that if she did not like Dave and if he would not leave, would I come get her. I told her, of course. We get to Alex’s house; my wife tells me that she is really nervous. We go inside and my wife gives Alex a hug. Alex introduces us to Dave; my wife shakes his hand.
I could tell that Dave had a well-built physique. I get ready to leave and Dave asks if he could step outside with me. I told him sure. Dave told me that Alex told him about the situation between my wife and I and that he wanted to make sure that I was okay with all this. I told him that it is going to be my wife’s decision and that I was okay with whatever she decides. I told him that my wife said that if things did not "click" between the two of them, she wanted him to leave. Dave said that Alex had already told him that and the he would respect my wife's wishes.
Dave asks me again if I was okay with him entering the picture and me sharing my wife with him. I told Dave that my wife has a lot of empathy for widowers like him. I told him that if things "click" between the two of them that he should make the most of it with her and hoped he would enjoy being with her. Dave tells me that she is a beautiful lady; shakes my hand; and I leave.
