Jill and I had gotten together for lunch and she invited a friend named Julie who was a caregiver for old folks in their homes. She seemed really nice and we got to talking. Jill broached the subject of our little lake escape which made Julie laugh. Thursday night was the first of the full moon and it was supposed to be clear and warm so we were all a go... Julie asked Torin if she could come by that evening to watch for the wood elves with him and that maybe they could play some ol' Celtic music to coax them out... he said he had never thought about that idea but was excited to try it and not sit alone.
Thursday night came and it was beautiful out... all got over to his neighborhood and walked to the back wooded area behind his home and got undressed and pulled out sheer gowns over our heads, we had ribbons in our hair and lots of jewelry on to make some jingling noise while we danced. We could hear the music playing soft and could see candle lights through the trees. He was sitting in his wheelchair by Julie on the patio talking low and looking all over. Well it was show time as midnight came and we started to dance slowly from the trees to his large back lawn area. Julie asked if he heard anything and he said "YES! Look over there in the trees!" I was dressed in pale green with yellow ribbons in my long red hair, Jill was in a light pink with red ribbons which went well with her blond hair and Ann was dressed in a very sheer yellow with green ribbons with her red locks permed. He was fixated on all of us as we danced to the lawn and the moonlight hit us.
