My partner is very competitive and prideful. If you get her riled up she'll bet on just about anything even if she has no hope in winning. Last year I was much more into watching esports than I am now and I would have them going on the TV while I studied. I forget which championship or tournament it was specifically but we were joking and betting small things like chocolate or who does the dishes and stuff on each match. We decided to bet something a little bigger on the grand finals and since we were both rooting for different teams it worked out.
My partner doesn't do things in moderation but I was also a wuss. So we settled on something fairly simple. Whoever chose the losing team in grand finals had to have a picture of themselves taken by the other and keep it as their home screen on their phone until the new year. This happened around mid-September so it would be the loser's background for a good four months. I suggested it because it was something small and we both had a pretty bad habit of checking our phones every ten seconds.
And then I lost. It was a total blowout! Team I was cheering for went almost undefeated the whole way through the tournament and then choked in grand finals. I had made the bet thinking that there was no way that I could lose because my partner didn't know the game very well or each team's history. I tried to weasel out but my partner has lost enough bets to me that made her do silly or embarrassing things that she really wanted to get back at me.
She had me wearing just a large zippered sweatshirt and my socks and shoes. She took my phone and had me stand facing our house but behind a tree with the street behind me. It was the evening and there were a lot of people coming home from work or taking their dogs for a walk. The picture was pretty impressive though because you could see all of that even though it is a small road because our place is at the center of a 3-way intersection. The shot showed the whole road and how it goes up a hill a ways down and caught all the people milling about. It made it look way more risky and daring than it was.
I was giggling out of nervousness and she was teasing me. When she finally took the picture and I went to run back inside she did this whole, "Oh, that was my phone. Sorry cutie, can you get back over there?" So I had to stand back against the tree and opened the sweatshirt again and she lined up another shot. My love for that woman has no end but the way she was milking that moment drove me crazy. She decided her artistic vision required me to give her my sweatshirt for a quick moment. I did as I was told, posed, and she took the real picture. Which also showed a couple walking a dog on just the other side of the tree. They didn't notice me (I would have died if they did) but it was really close. I stood there in terror waiting for them to get far enough away that I could grab my sweatshirt from my partner without getting seen and sprinted back into the house.
We set it as my home screen on my phone and she cuddled me and made sure I was feeling okay and wasn't going to die of a panic attack from almost getting caught. That was the closest thing that I have done to streaking and it was the most naked I've been outside my back yard. Being in college and sitting front row with a bunch of really close friends Monday through Friday... I certainly stopped checking my phone so often with such a high risk of showing myself off like that. Luckily I made it through without anyone (as far as I can tell) seeing it that semester.
