Indecent Exposure Charge Dismissed
Alexis Garcia had been charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure. Garcia complained about the noise a 14 year old boy was making while he was playing basketball in his backyard. When it did not stop, Garcia went out on her sundeck and got naked. The boy ran inside and told his parents. Superior Court Judge Robert Armstrong has thrown out the case. He says the language for indecent exposure in State law only applies to men. All references in penal code section 314 refer to a person exposing “his” private parts” or “himself”.
